Alistair Watson

Alastair Watson

Alastair is a founding partner of Broad Oak Support Services LLP. Over the past 15 years, Alastair has undertaken a large number of roles as principal and adviser, delivering value on behalf of private equity firms, banks and owner-managers.

His experience includes sectors as diverse as care homes and construction, pubs, clubs, multi-site retailers and manufacturing, together with other service operations: Alastair himself acquired his first 'over stretched' company, a South-East based pub operator, during 2000.

Alastair is a Chartered Accountant, having trained with Price Waterhouse (now PwC) where he spent a number of years in the firmís corporate finance department. Alastair enjoys using his commercial and financial expertise to meet the challenges of companies in distress and deliver successful projects for stakeholders. He is a member of a number of the UK's leading turnaround panels and a full member of the Institute For Turnaround.

Richard Smith

Richard Smith

Prior to co-founding BOSS with Alastair, Richard had been managing a stressed business with over 500 employees and £40m of debt. Has a wealth of commercial experience gained from operating in high quality manufacturing and engineering businesses. Holds the MCIPS qualification.

James Haywood

James Hayward

A PwC qualified chartered accountant and member of the Institute for Turnaround since 2001, James has over 18 yearsí experience as a turnaround and restructuring specialist.

Has worked variously as a CRO, advisor and finance director for a huge array of companies in the quoted, private, LLP and public sectors.
